| Brief Biography |
After graduating in 2004, Meagen started her career in the software industry with one of the leading accounting and tax product developers in North America, Intuit Canada (Pty) Ltd based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. During her time at Intuit she was involved with several products including Quicken and QuickBooks eventually leading the Canadian and UK product teams for QuickBooks. Her experience traversed end to end from research, planning through to execution. Meagen left Intuit in 2009 in order to relocate to South Africa. After settling in Cape Town Meagen built her own company in the online retail space leveraging on local resources as well as partnering in a successful venture in the hospitality industry. In 2016 Meagen left the private sector and returned to the formal sector in various management roles. |
